Gill Morrison

SENIOR Consultant

 

Gill is a Senior Consultant with Jackson Samuel and has over twenty years of human resources leadership and general management experience within the energy and oil sector. More recently she has worked as a consultant with small medium and large organisations, in the areas of leadership development, capability, talent management and human resource effectiveness. 

Gill has a generalist HR background and her areas of expertise and focus include talent management; organisational capability; change management; career transition coaching; and learning.

Gill’s roles have led her to work extensively in both developing and OECD countries, and across five continents. She has consulted with clients and within BP at the most senior levels, as well as front line operations, and has worked at strategic and tactical levels in a number of arenas. These have included: the development of several leadership and technical competency frameworks; the implementation of development and deployment programmes in support of local national talent management; the creation of a global human resource team to support a new business stream; and the design and implementation of talent management solutions.

Prior to joining Jackson Samuel, Gill was most recently Head of Organisational Capability for BP's Safety and Operations Group, where she led the people related work-strands within a companywide, global change programme.

Gill has a BSc in Psychology and is a SIMA coach, specialising in supporting clients in career transitions.
